Mapping Manager Version 4.2 Released
ANALYTIX DATA SERVICES ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF VERSION 4.2 FOR MAPPING MANAGER.
AnalytiX Data Services, headquartered in Chantilly, VA, with a Global Development Center in Hyderabad, India and Winner of the Most Valuable Partner Award 2012, by at the Informatica MarketPlace, announced the release of its new version for its innovative award -winning Mapping Manager Solution.
Today i.e., , July 16, 2012, AnalytiX Data Services unveiled version 4.2 of its metadata- driven source- to- target mapping solution – the Mapping Manager Solution. The patent pending Mapping Manager solution automates the currently manual data mapping process by allowing business and data analysts to create mapping using drag n-and- drop techniques, organizing data mappings into project folder categories and consolidating mappings into a versioned data mapping repository which manages and tracks the data mappings through the workflow process. The (“patent pending)” versioning capability tracks all versions of the data mappings while integrating agnostically with ETL and ELT tool providers like Informatica, IBM DataStage, and Microsoft SQL Server and others to auto-generate ETL Jobs for the industry leading ETL/ELT tool providers.
The version 4.2 release of the Mapping Manager introduces deeper integration with ETL tools, improved performance and new features to accelerate the data mapping process. The “key” new features introduced are:
- Lineage Analyzer (new feature)
- Advanced Impact Analysis (Options to include Business Rules, Lookups, Source SQL Selects)
- Advanced Reporting and Mapping Export Options
- The Integration Industry’s first ETL Conversion Tool – facilitating the automatic conversion between ETL Tools
- Deeper integration with ETL Tools
AnalytiX’s founder and CTO, Mike Boggs, announced “The version 4.2 release of the mapping manager was primarily was primarily driven by customer- requested enhancements making the mapping process faster, delivering better insight into the mapping process, while and improving documentation around the entire processes”. Mike Boggs further commented, “Our customers come to us because we automate the one of the few remaining areas of data integration which is not addressed by software automation – The Data Mapping Process. Our software automates this process so it is Faster, More Manageable and Collaborative while enabling better standards around the entire mapping processes. Future releases of our software will continue to focus on “the Customer” and accelerating the delivery of projects by focusing on data mapping automation, ETL code generation capabilities and ETL Tool Conversion capabilities of our ETL Integration Library. Our ETL integration library enables customers to use Mapping Manager as an ETL Conversion Tool to automate the retiring of one ETL Platform while migrating to another. The ETL Integration Library allows customers to create their own “ETL Job Design Templates” built on their own best practices and standards and ensure that when each mapping is exported from Mapping Manager it is delivered with consistently high quality based on customer job design and best practices and standards”.
Earlier this year last month Mike Boggs was quoted announced during the version release at Informatica World saying “In 2008 we launched the World’s first enterprise solution which that solves the Pre-ETL source- to- target mapping (STM) problem. Now in 2012 with our ETL Integration Library (Mapping Manager Add-On) and deeper integration with ETLtTools we are pleased to introduce the world’s first ETL Conversion Tool. Our ETL integration Library will now allow organizations to not only to standardize the mapping process and accelerate delivery of the source to target mapping process, We can now accelerate the ETL /ELT phase and ensure a faster delivery of the ETL phase and ensure a higher quality of deliverables surrounding ETL Tools”.
AnalytiX DS has been the recipient of 3 Informatica awards over the past 3 years including two innovation awards and the most valuable partner award. System integrators globally have started to standardize the data mapping process of integration projects on the Mapping Manager. The AnalytiX business model is to develop complimentary capabilities and solutions for the data integration industry which have been overlooked and ignored by larger software companies and build solutions and capabilities which compliment larger data integration tools surrounding, ETL/ELT, metadata management, master data management and Configuration and Planning tools.
